Their works have graced the pages of the world’s leading fashion magazines and international ad campaigns.
So following on from the success of the previous three year’s events, the MLC Centre, Sydney’s premier shopping destination, will launch its fourth fashion photography exhibition on Thursday April 8, 2010.
“From Dreams to Reality” features 25 works by 20 of Australia’s leading and emerging fashion photographers such as Derek Henderson, Georges Antoni, Christian Blanchard, Kane Skennar, Carlotta Moye and Simon Lekias.
The images are diverse, colorful and captivating. Shot from coast to coast from Palm Beach to Perth there’s everything from buffed bodies including surfing champion Kelly Slater in all his toned glory, to actor Aden Young in cocktail mode to Miranda Kerr on the beach in Rio adorned with peacock feathers.
The photographs will be exhibited for two weeks on Level 7, Upper Fashion Level, of the MLC Centre and are beautifully mounted in 85 x65 cm frames. All limited-edition prints are signed by the artist and available for sale for $750 with profits directly benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
The exhibition will launch with an exclusive cocktail party to be attended by the contributing photographers, models and stylists all of whom have donated their work to benefit the NBCF and the PCFA.
During the past exhibitions many of the limited editions were snapped up within minutes.
